I’ve had my Secret Pal recipient’s package sitting here, waiting for me to get well enough to leave the house, for a week or two. After I wrote this morning’s post I decided that time had come. So I headed off to the post office and what did I find waiting for me…?

My Secret Pal’s second parcel had arrived!

(Didn’t this happen last time? Do my Secret Pal and I have some kind of psychic link?)

Inside were three intriguing objects:

1) a knitted block of chocolate. I laughed out loud at this one.
2) a ball of Filatura di Crossa ‘127 Print’. For some reason when I look at this I want to knit a dictionary cosy. You see, in my line of work I have the dictionary and thesaurus close by most of the time. The paper covers died long ago and I’ve been thinking the boring blue cloth covers could be wrapped in something more attractive. Like beautiful knitting yarn. But this yarn would also be nice for one of those lovely head wrap/earwarmer/hair band thingys that have turned up in magazines this year. Decisions decisions.
3) a cd! I haven’t listened to it yet. When I knock off for the day later on I’ll get myself some knitting and settle in to see what surprises my Secret Pal has in store for me.
