Black Ripple

Finished last Friday night:

Pattern: Ripple by Wendy Bernard
Yarn: Alpaca by Heidi By Hand

I used 2.75mm needles, as I didn’t have the size specified, but it fits just fine.

Last night I finished the first of the next pair of Socks For Others.

I love this Kaffe Fasset sock yarn! Regia tends to be a bit hard and scratchy, though that’s balanced by it being so hard-wearing and shrink-proof. This version is soft and cushy, though. I wonder if it will wear as well…

The night after I finished Black Ripple, I started this:

In black Bendy cotton. I’m knitting the fronts and backs in one piece, mainly because when I stuff up crochet, I stuff up the edges, and this way there’s only two edges to stuff up!

  1. Cute hat! The disembodied head is a bit odd though 😉
Coming home next week for a visit. Yay!

  2. The hat turned out cute. I love the color of those socks, I'm with you on the Regia sock yarn, not real cushy.
